College of William and Mary

The College of William and Mary is the second-oldest college in America and considered the best small university in the nation.  William and Mary graduates experience acceptance to the nation's law and medical schools at rates notably above the national average.  It is a public, liberal arts university and was founded in 1693 by King William and Queen Mary.  Graduates of the school have included Thomas Jefferson, James Monroe, and John Tyler as well as numerous other illustrious leaders in the nation's history.
